Price’s is excellent as always, and I really like Fleecs’, he’s really improved (is this comic before To Where and Back Again, just wondering?).

Actully they rotate forward to be a claw thing, so the scoop thing is kind of right.

I don’t think that Twilight’s toy suppose to work as pooper scooper. More like just an armor that cover up her wings.  
Also Fostgitts design is clearly stolen from a fan art.

For the first time in history, the toys are better.

As it stands they’re not hind leg mounted jetpacks, they’re dorkly looking hoverboards that took like a minute to draw, if even that.

OP, if you’re going to make an image like this at least spell the guy’s name right!
 
I figured out what the deal is with the little antenna thing on Fosgitt’s gliders: the toy has one too but it’s not visible when you stick the pony into it. It acts as a support for the belly of the pony.

Fleeces obviously just traced the cannon in the first picture, it’s 1-1 and he even stuck in Cheeses head where the lever would be. In the second picture, it looks like a different cannon, details like the picture on the front of the thing and the barrel are different. I would like to point out this is not a criticism, he was specifically told to show off a toy, and if he traced it to give a totally accurate representation of the toy so the kids felt like they were playing with the thing they were seeing, completely fine. Name of the game and all that, no matter how I rag on his copy-paste most times he deserves a pass on that one.
 
I’m only bringing this up to point out that’s what makes the bottom picture more baffling. It would be one thing to make something look better because the toy design sucks, and you want to really work on your art. It would be fine if it was redone to look more exciting or something, but for a toy advert, he’s not advertising the toys, and it looks worse in every regard than said toy he’s disregarding for what looks like headless and limbless of his griffons. He didn’t even use the right colors. It’s utterly baffling that hasbro signed off on this, you’d think they’d at least look closely at their advertisements.
 
This gives the impression Hasbro really does not care about the comics, even just as another outlet for profit.

I’m half tempted to ask the mods to alias “artist:jay fosgitt” with “Op is trying to start shit”. Let’s be real, 9 times out of 10 that’s all anyone is really trying to do with uploading image crops of his work anymore.

Fossgits looks nothing like the actual toy, which is a shame because his toy was the coolest looking one, wish price or fleecs had gotten fossgits.

Remember what he did to Greta?  

Funny how in any other case, most fans care very little about the toys being depicted in the media, or even outright use them as bad points.

Price and Fleecs did a great job at accurately representing those toys down to the most minute detail.

What a shock.
