Art is not a gift given to all people. You could draw well before you made an improvement. There are those of us who could draw every single day for the rest of our lives and still be shit at art. It’s one of those talents you’re born with, in my opinion.
I think I’ll just go cut off my hands now.
But I don’t have a tablet.
And I can already draw good, but only with pencil and paper.
I drew this in December last year, less than two months after buying a tablet and trying to learn how to draw for the first time.
This is what I did in June, six months later.
And this is what I recently drew, completely freehand, and released as a teaser for a comic I’m making.
In less than 12 months, I’ve made a large amount of improvement in my ability. It only takes practice. So stop making excuses, and scribble your ideas down and start creating!
