More Starlight and a Possible (guarenteed)(amazing) Celestia Episode in Season 7!

A new DVD from Shout! Factory due in May appears to have two new episodes that I suspect are going to be from season 7. Focusing mainly on Twilight and Starlight Glimmer, I assume these two new episodes also deal with her.

Thinking about it some more, maybe SG’s presence would be preferable. Considering that she needs to learn something, Celestia can be a competent teacher, which would remove the need for the conflict to focus on her.
And I agree; of course it doesn’t. We’ve seen many examples throughout the show where characters play off on another. While I would love an episode focusing on Celestia, I certainly wouldn’t mind one shared between her and Starlight.

The presence of one doesn’t null the presence of the other. I can see a good Celestia episode with Starlight Glimmer, if the writers want to make that. I just have very little expectations that they care enough about Celestia to do something with her. In the end, it’s up to whatever they want to do with the episode… It’s not like they care about consistency.
That would mean that, if the show said that Starlight Glimmer was one of Celestia’s students, then that would change Starlight’s history or backstory, and likely mess with some peoples headcanon.
What does that mean?
Knowing DHX, Celestia will more likely than not be present in the episode to some degree–I doubt they’ll let a perfectly good pun go to waste. That being said, it probably won’t be what most of us are expecting from a Celestia episode, as mentioned already by others, given that Starlight will almost certainly be present as well.

Yes. It may also be the case that “Celestial” has nothing to do with Celestia… People are going crazy over this.
Make it so.
I think the Celestia episode hysteria is making people overreact. I’m sure Celestia will be in it, but it won’t be the Celestia-only episode the fandom has been salivating for these past few months.
