Honestly, though, why would Celestia confuse what she went out to do with Accord overwriting everyponies’ personality with own? That’s… stupid.
Maybe because it takes out the fun of a joke? I don’t know, that seems perfectly reasonable to me.
To explain the difference between a “dictator” and a “tyrant” to someone who appeared to get it wrong. Unless one is afraid of knowledge, I can’t see why anyone would object such an explanation.
I’m sure “gotcha ;)” at the end would have been enough, to be honest, I don’t even know why you would even feel the need to correct a comment like that, it wouldn’t have made sense unless I was making a joke.
Well, if you would maybe make it a bit more clear you’re making a joke….. That could help. :P

*Dictator. Celestia is a dictator, not a tyrant. There is a very big difference here.
That’s one of the reasons why I love this issue, that we saw Starlight Glimmer and Celestia explaining the difference between a “dictator” and a “tyrant” in such skilled ways. It’s something that even I didn’t consider before reading this, I always put dictators and tyrants on the same level, but now not anymore.

I never watched Team America: World Police. Not the movie itself. From what little I’ve seen, it is an over-exaggeration of actual politics. Though, if you think it’s accurate, I don’t know what to say other than: wow.
