I know the feeling. It would nice to see the Sirens triumphant for once.
Ah. Welp, I’d like to think Adagio would catch her off-guard later, but knowing most siren-related fan content, Adagio would probably get all her limbs broken first. Hence my wishful thinking that things might turn out in her favor for once. >.>;
Speed isn’t about stride length alone but also how quickly you take those strides. Equines of any size would have a remarkable advantage in speed compared to a human.

Looking at the difference in strides, it looks to me like Adagio is already gaining on her pretty easily. Trixie not being particularly strong in magic, or much of anything, a dancer’s footwork will probably do the job.
Given Adagio’s long heels I’d say she only has a broken ankle coming.
