Just looking at my FimFic account and I’m actually following your Piercing the Heavens stories, so you prob inspired my Shadowbolt headcannon with your awesome story. I’m only on chapter 4 at the momemnt, but have read all the ones beforehand. They’ve been so good I’ve lost track of time whilst reading them lol.

Just to add Rapidsnap is name so for two reasons.
 
1 - Is his special talent of taking multiple different photos at a rapid pace (which I’m good at in real life when I’m out photoing buses lol)
 
2 - Is that he is known to mentally snap and go into a fit of rage, again also like me. I actually did it on Monday come to think of it.

Nah Rapidsnap is more based on my unstable personality. Felt like a Social Outcast, Nightshade uses her ability to recruit him. It’s prob your work on the Shadowbolts that influenced my headcannon.
 
Other things with Rapidsnap, prob would hump anything mare or stallion, kind of fancys Soarin.
 
But Twister looks awesome. But with this fandom, there is always a chance OCs could end up looking similar.
 
Additionally Rapidsnap originally had a two tone blue Mane as seen here - https://derpicdn.net/img/view/2015/11/25/1029742__safe_oc_comic_lined+paper_artist-colon-rapidsnap_oc+metaphor_oc+rapidsnap.jpg - but reverted to a single colour to make it easier to draw.
 
But looks like we have twins on our hands where both of them are evil lol, though I prob was good at one point lol.

Back in 2012 i introduced Shadowbolts using crystals that give them magical powers, and revealed later in 2013 that they obtained them through their mercenary work.
 
in june 2014 i started the third in the series while introducing a character named Twister:
 

 

 

 

 

 
A crazy, unstable stallion who has no rhyme or reason to his actions. (A recent pic of Rapidsnap of him doing twilight’s crazy face made me double take because i thought it was Twister.)
 
So it really is just a huge coincidence i guess, funny how these things work out x3

Rapidsnap is my OC that I created in December 2014.
 
As for the Crystals, after reading a few fics, my reckoning is that the Shadowbolts have obtained Crystals (due to some mercenary job) that give them unnatual power.

This OC is not only visually similar to a character from my stories, but the concept of shadowbolts and crystals being the source of their power happens to be in my story as well, any connection or is it purely a coincidence? x3
