I think the top two rows are saying something along the lines of “Discord can pair up with Fluttershy, but even though she won’t live forever he can still pair up with Celestia afterwards” and “Spike can pair up with Rarity, but even though she won’t live forever he can still pair up with Ember afterwards”.

I am calm. my statement was just long thats it. and i even agreedi was just opening up another possibility after she died and their relationship together.i couldnt put it in one sentence. its just my theory as well. yeah i get the whole hes more interacted with celestia that i agree with but what im saying is personal connection. or who has more potential if he decided to be with any of them. and how the relationship would most likely work out. again sorry if you think im being rude or “losing it”. im not im just opening up my theory on it

Wow! Calm down. I put Celestia and Discord because at this moment he only makes jokes unto Celestia, but if Fluttershy dies, he may change his mind to find a friendship. Luna is a low option because i didnt find interaction between Discord and her.

why just celestia though? there luna as well. how do people automatically predict hes going to jump to an ageless pony after that? i mean sure if that happened it happened but some act as if its a fact. we see no actual signs of him liing her or caring for her in the show why just celestia? plus they are on 2 completely different maturity levels fluttershy balances him out and he worships the ground she walks on. but why is it acted upon as a guarenteed fact nobody has any idea what would happen after he lost fluttershy. i feel people only say this because it looks appealing instead of focusing on actual chemistry and interaction between 2 characters. fluttershy would straighten him out that why he loves her so much the way she is and the way they go together so well. but why just celestia? we dont even know if hed just up an pick an ageless pony after that. besides it says alot to say “best option” being it would downgrade celestias status as a princess. she puts her kingdom first and discord aqquires constant attention as we see with fluttershy and him and hes that needy individual and celestia realistically wouldnt have enough time for it or the emotional maturity to handle him which is why she chose fluttershy to deem him as a good creature to begin with. i mean i get the appeal of dislestia you knwo the whole immortality thing and opposites attract but this seems extremely black and white to me. andi hate to sound like a hater or cynical but tbh lets say when she does die and discord along the line decides to ask celestia out being immortal creatures over time you can grow to get sick of them like after 2000 years or so being in a relationship plus the maturity levels celestia realistically wouldnt put up for constantly. given discord would have time to mature out during the process of being with fluttershy and quite possibly be the best option for a relationship being they have alot of chemistry together and we see in the show that he is obsessed over her but if it was celestia people would be screaming canon so lets say they had a relationship fluttershy and discord he moves on after her death because the relationship was worth having it doesnt mean it wasnt worth it.and he decides one day after being good friends with celestia hes like hey you know maybe i should ask her out but after 2000 to 3000 years of being in a relationship with someone thats just unrealistic to say theyll be together forever and skip off into the sun without getting sick of eachother after like 1000s and 1000s of years to a character he has no interaction or chemistry with.both ship are apoealing but realistically this relationship between discord and celestia would end very quickly they are total opposites she cant give him that attention he needs hence forth ruling the kingdom putting all her subjects and duties over him and not having any time for him as we see or a relationship at all for that matter ALTHOUGH to be fair cadence has a husband and she barely has time either but she serves a lesser purpose it doesnt have nearly enough duties as celestias work being the main princess everyone focuses on yet peopel frequently forget luna has alot more in common with discord then celestia does she had to face 1000 years on the moon she was left out shunned by others yeah i know this is long lol sorry but its a good theory again im not trying to be mean if it sounds like it but this is just a factual theory if were talking about how things will play out most likely in all reality.

Basically, Discord learned friendship and if her best friend pass away, Celestia like an ageless pony is the best option. I know at the beginning will be only jokes and disrespect, but Discord will open his heart quickly.

so basically if fluttershy dies that means he automatically wants celestia after that with no choice of his own and no other ship options besides just celestia who he has no interaction with or cares for yet theres princess luna as well or any other one he chooses to end up with after her not just a princess for shipping sake. and spike goes to his friend ember because she saved him in one episode. seems legit. then again spike is a small child so pairing him with an adult is kind of over the edge as said by the writer herself. Fluttershy and Discord actually make sense though.

It’s still just some headcanons. Discord might as well end up with Twilight or Luna or make Fluttershy immortal or dissolve his own immortality if he even is immortal in the first place. Before Fluttershy dies, he might as well marry Alicorn Trixie :P
