Oh goddammit XD
Dramaaaaa! That’s what they call it in the business. I think…
Yes, though I bring it up less because of this continuity, and more because it’s a reminder that a good chunk of Vava’s work is non-human porn, and that some of the logical reasoning you find in porn carries over into the comics slightly. Not too much, but enough, especially with those that follow her for that reason influencing the decisions.
AFAIK…
This story isn’t that other story, at least. :)
I don’t think that other story is in progress anymore.
Shining is still alive in this time line right?
#1bc3 has a point.
Let me play devil’s advocate here and point out that Spike’s relationship with Twilight is not very well defined. In this context the whole thing here with the comic it is Uber-Creepy, but in the context of the show we’ve never gotten any real grasp on how they relate to one another. Twilight certainly doesn’t see Spike as a son——and she certainly doesn’t treat him like she treats her brother. They have a very unusual relationship, but it works for them. In time, and as Spike matures, it could become something else. Or not.
Not trying to start a debate/flame war or anything, just stating that their relationship isn’t that easily defined.
You’re asking him to try dating his adoptive sister/mother. Think about that.
But what if he can? We honestly can’t tell what will turn over in this continuity. Who’s to say he’s fully happy with AJ. Who’s to say he he isn’t? Perhapps it could work out, perhapps it can’t. That’s the power of dramatic story telling.
I don’t wanna be too harsh about this, but you know what gets me the most about Cadance “getting over” Shining with Chrysalis? Not that it happened, but that it happened in a story that is all about how great and romantic it is that Celestia keeps finding her lover reincarnated.
Double romantic standards. Celestia gets this storybook forever romance, Cadance gets the realistic “he’s dead move on” plot.
Then friendship is magic and decisions regarding relationship boundaries should be respected since love is a two way street.
And if Spike doesn’t love Twi in a romantic way?
Also, why does she think she can have Spike drop AJ to hook up with the pony that is more are an adopted sister than a friend to him? And why does everypony have a dragon-fetish in this comic? Why can’t Twi grow up, apologize and move on?
If you’re married — and you’re still dating — then you don’t really have a marriage.
@Jaysteeny
Agreed.
What about polygamy?
When did the fandom care about marriage getting in the way of their ship? This is also the woman that has Chrysalis and Cadance hook up since Shining died, and Luna try to bang her doppelgänger.
Ominous. I like it. However…
