People who like guns can be very passionate on the internet; to the point of foaming at the mouth at anything they perceive as “Wrong”
If you want my advice, the blue one’s grip could be perfected by having her thumb wrap around to the other side of the gun. Where it is now, it’ll get snapped off by the slide when she fires. Beyond that, looking at how characters hold guns in videogames will probably help you to increase your knowledgebase.
I mean this is also meant to be literally moments before or even in the middle of a shootout. The only actual flaw is that I positioned their fingers like they’re using hammer-action pistols, but all of the comments have been about ‘trigger discipline’.
Edit: I should say that Stormfront holding her own forearm like that is absolutely bad form, but I was asked to draw a ‘badass buddy pose’, so I went for the dramatic over the practical.

Tbh, my first impulse was to type something sarcastic, but i lost the urge after a little thought. I think it’s petty that people are jumping down your throat. Perhaps they have difficulty separating the high-stakes aspects of using a gun from seeing a fanciful drawing. =P If they really want something portrayed a certain way, then first they need to hire you.
Americans love their goddamn guns.
you know, the first 3-4 comments I got on this across various platforms were about how I’ve clearly never handled a gun. This is a true statement, but the swiftness with which everyone jumped down my throat (present company not included; yours was by far the nicest pointing-out of the errors) kinda shocked me.
This is the internet, though, so I shouldn’t exactly be shocked at this point.
