I take it Venus Spring is drunk as well. After all alcohol can cause bounds of whining just as much.  
I hope you don’t listen too much. Part of the reason Venus is so strong is that she’s such a normal mare despite getting raped and abused on an almost daily basis. You should make more in which you show Venus and Mars fighting.
 
Maybe make on in which Venus hurts someone else on her own volition. The only real one is where she is cranky because of her menstruation.

No, she’s an externalization of a sheltered perception of sex where fear speaks louder than reason. A typical method of dealing with fears and insecurities is making them look attractive; and of which fetishization dominates this particular corner of the mind. Humans are social creatures so when these repressed feelings are presented in an attractive fashion and agreed upon it presents relief for these underlying wounds.

I’m not “bent out of shape”, I just want anyone in a rut to have opportunity to leave it instead of doing nothing or contributing to a sad lifestyle. No she’s not my OC, yes she’s a cartoon character and the artist and anyone can do whatever they choose but in the same moment “IS it beneficial? Is it only fun for a little while and then depressing?”

I don’t either, but everywhere you find the uneducated and impoverished, you find someone making a lot of money from exploiting their weakness and stupidity. I suspect the reason it’s hopeless to help the impoverished is that they aren’t the problem. when people have found ways to cripple those profiteers, the poor’s “resistance” to better education and wise financial decisions mysteriously begins to fade away.

There is a subtle yet profound aid in Jesus, being the name’s ultimately translated and derived from a place of wholeness though it seems incredibly vague and boring to me in English and seeing it in Hebrew (not just in English transliteration) gives a whole load more detail; particularly to read the name and understand the other “unfulfilled” name which has been obliterated from most texts. I dunno so much about Mr. Trump (that’s not by necessity an insult to him) but I won’t get deep into that subject here partially because I haven’t done significant research on him. At least while I was on a subject about him a few days ago it came up that “How many of his words are interpreted by voters as he meant them?” when on the “Wall” subject.

I haven’t read each comic but I’ve seen Mars being (mostly) considerate to her but sometimes unknowing (e.g. the one where he spent the rent money on a fancy dinner.) And yes, drunkenness can cause that. Doesn’t make it right being “Beer is a brawler, wine is a mocker…” Overdoing it’s just… Overdoing it. I kinda get the feeling that neither are all “THAT bad” and perhaps both would just need a nudge in the right direction if they’re not opposed to it - So to speak, of course, being that we’re discussing cartoon characters here.

I feel that you’re missing something. Mars is mentally handicapped, if past comics are any indication. Also, he has been show to care for Venus, even in a non-sexual way, something she rare for her. Venus also seems to be disinterested in her job, of running mascara is any indication, and is likely forced into the job. And to be fair, there are people who lose who they are when they’re drunk, or takes out all the hatred and frustration they have pent up inside themselves at others.

They kind of feel like the pony equivalent of white trash to me. He’s dumb, a mean drunk, and gives back nothing to her besides company in bed. She stocks shelves by day, prostitutes herself by night, gets raped, and apparently dropped out of school. I don’t know if there’s a solution to that, considering how many people in real life get stuck like that and become miserable because of their economic situation.
 
Maybe someone needs to tell her some useless advice like “Y’all need to find Jesus” or “Vote for Trump”.

Still, all the more for the fact that she’s feeling sad about it and that WOULD be an opportune time to give aid so she wouldn’t be there anymore by at the very least offering some real advice anti-vice. But nope, Mars while inebriated isn’t sending any help and thus the cycle could continue. Maybe neither know the way out given the lives where they were born into but she’s not happy about it and Mars kinda doesn’t like it yet he at least seems all too happy to let her wallow in sadness by not helping, all so he can kick her for it while she hates her position while possibly continuing in it and he may end up feeling miserable in turn by his own actions. It’s a hell of a place to be, not just for Venus but Mars may also get beaten up by ponies who are mad as hell of hearing his behavior toward her.

Drunkeness actually helps people recall things they learned while inebriated they normally forget about when sober, such as bar brawling. So if Mars frequently gets drank at a local dive and hears a lot of things about Venus and her line of work, I guess he might have a different perspective while tanked?
