Detailed syntax guide

I never liked stories like this, because they never really do anything new. Everything always goes back to normal at the end.

Essentially it just feels like “Never have change, because different can be scary and you’re better off safe then sorry.”

I can’t say I share the enthusiasm. The story was distressingly predictable, without enough visual humour to make up for it. What I take away from it is mainly Mayor Mare’s smarmy grin here and how the other competent ponies lost a few IQ points to make it happen.

Compare it to PPOV. That also had a fairly predictable plot, but it was also enjoyable wacky.

Yknow, I’m all for a shift towards actual democracy in Equestria, not just this “Princesses rule forever with worthless mayors to keep face” we see in the show proper. The issue did a great job towards making it so there’s still some form of power held by ponies without wings and a horn. That’s a win as far as I’m concerned.
