Yep, from as far as I can tell it is completely dead.
 
Sleepless in Ponyville killed it off. And no headcanon of value was lost the day Sleepless in Ponyville premiered.
 
But it’s kinda sad where 10 seconds in one epsode made a really stupid headcanon that took a whole epsode to kill off.

That one ten second scene in Owl’s Well inspired a majority of Scootabuse images. Obviously, as time has progressed, and there are fewer to no questionable dialogues between Scotty and Rainbow, Scootabuse has nearly diminished to an unnoticeable amount, I’d presume. :3

Scootaloo was literally 100% perfection in season one. The only people that didn’t like her were people casting bait for shock value. The negatives only entered during the exodus of 2012, but my memorys pretty fuzzy around then as the high of the fandom started to wane for me and I used the worst board of 4chan for far longer than I’d like to admit and there was a lot of other shit that went down that wasn’t pony. Sleepless was season 3, right? December 8th of ‘12? That’s almost a whole year for new ideals to fester so I can understand if more crap happened during that time

Rainbow’s opinion of her was relatively unclear until 2012. Despite her being Scoot’s Mane Six counterpart. Much like Celestia, we tend to fill in any available holes (hurr, innuendo) with… Well, rather negative portrayals of one’s potential character. Scotty’s dubious fan interpretations have slowed, no doubt. The same cannot be said for others such as Celestia, whom is to this day still considered promiscuous, a jokester, possibly resentful of her crown and title, and generally incompetent. Simply because Celestia character is not fully developed. If I watch the show without thinking of that sort of thing too hard, it’d seem the opposite is true for all four of those characteristics. While not particularly deep just yet, she has demonstrated somewhat positive traits in the relatively short times she has been given a spotlight. ^w^

Actually, no. I’ve been looking at the scootachicken tag via filters and It only gets updated…about one image every three to five weeks.
 
It’s mainly been dead for years now. Stuff like this is only the occasional twitch.
