Maybe. But then again, they’ve never really hammered out the logic or had robust rules for magic or supernatural abilities. They’ve instead preferred thematic resolutions. Rainbow Power is unlocked once all of the Mane Six have a deeper understanding of their elements, gained from witnessing the downsides of their virtues. Starlight is defeated by reincorporating the running theme of Season 5, which is working through your problems and moving forwards. Admittedly, the specific mechanics of the changelings aren’t robust, but thematically, it’s them realizing that they no longer need to steal and hoard, and in turn that they no longer need Chrysalis. It’s a sort of magical peasants’ revolt that meshes with the theme of diplomacy that’s been running through seasons 5 and 6.

the creatures who needed to feed constantly learn that if they puke the love back up then they never have to feed?….right..ok.
but that they know how to do that instantly is odd right?

Bad will always exist. Good winning isn’t gonna ruin the show .
There are plenty of examples of bad people: Tirek, Chrysalis, the Diamond Dogs, Sombra, The Flim Flam Brothers, Gladmane, Svengallop, Spoiled Rich, etc.
The thing about the changelings was that they feed off of love; their motivation has always been survival. So if they ever found another way to collect large amounts of love, it makes sense that they would default to that instead. The moral being that sometimes people are driven to do bad things out of necessity. If you want non-redeemed characters, take your pick, but changelings were probably never going to fill that role.
Ooh, right, a few were still in Canterlot, the Crystal Empire, and Ponyville. Most likely, they’ll never be addressed. lol

Well, we don’t know yet if ALL changelings are reformed. There was the rest of the hive, and not that many changelings were in the throne room when it went down.
Guess now we’ll have good and bad changelings.
Man, reality is pretty unrealistic huh? I didn’t know bugs came in those colors. Here I thought bees with their black and yellow stripes were showy enough :3
On the bright side look at all the nice fan art we’ll get from this
Eeeh, but I don’t think all the changelings are reformed, though. I think there are still plenty out in the world who won’t join Thorax at all. I don’t think it’s gone at all, imho.
