This makes no difference, the damage is done due to the media conveniently leaving that part out (and in the case of CNN, inventing a racist Pepe that didn’t exist before that point!). It’s really something that they all post articles with the same clickbait titles, often on the same day, isn’t it?
 
A harmless meme, for the most part, was ruined by Hillary Clinton. She started it and then the media and ADL followed, and now it’s ruined forever.
 
Using any Pepe anywhere now automatically labels you as a racist. This includes even the basic FeelsGoodMan / FeelsBadMan emotes and avatars. Prepare for people to jump all over you if you do, especially on Twitter. Even on Twitch, where they’ve been around on BTTV as emotes for years, prepare for some SJW to point out that you’re using “hate speech” and chide you.
 
I frequent several Twitch channels a day and Pepe use has died down dramatically, ever since it’s been banned. It’s really a shame, because FeelsBadMan to me was a great emote to use to convey depression / being sad over something, and now you CAN’T USE IT ANYMORE without someone thinking you’re Hitler.

Sorry to break the 4Chan circlejerk narrative but you seem to conveniently elude that the ADL noted that most uses of Pepe were not intended as Nazi imagery.
