I can relate.
Did a crossover story (that 40k one I’m doing here as a comic) over on Fimfiction.
Literally, I got 13 downvotes and 1 up within 10 minutes of putting it up on there.
It’s more than a little disheartening.
(Speaking of that comic, I need to get another page done. Not updated it in over 2 months!)
To be fair, I commented when it was 4up and 3 down, so it was looking a bit more bleak at that point. I realize it’s offputting, but I really dislike the downvote option. It does nothing for the artist to see a simple “I don’t like it” with no reason why.
It’s only four downvotes, don’t worry about it. Also, that kind of attitude isn’t gonna win you any favors.
Wouldn’t worry about the downvotes. At least it’s scored positive.
I guess some people just don’t appreciate crossover stuff.
I should know. That’s one of the things I’m known for. Still trying to think of crossovers that haven’t been done here. Found quite a lot of stuff MLP hasn’t been combined with yet….
