Razer once was relatively high-quality (that is, at least it lasted for two years as opposed to failing in under a month), but then they degraded in it, presumably because they thought their reputation would carry the profits anyway.

The keyboard had key signal-sticking problems right out of the box, causing me to inadvertently walk over many, many cliffs. Now I don’t buy Razer anything. This kind of shoddiness wouldn’t faze me if the products were el-cheapo WalMart crap that I picked up in a hurry because I needed input devices, but Razer is marketed as performance gaming gear, and priced to match.
