Yeah, they do a good job of that. I like how even the British farmer speaks in jibberish. (Which is probably how he sounds to the animals.)
@Beau Skunky
I heard the recent movie was supposed to be really good. And also that they managed to tell the entire story without a single line of spoken dialogue.
My personal nostalgic Aardman movie was Chicken Run.
@Blissey1
Surprisingly, “Shaun the Sheep” (also by Aardman, makers of W&G) is quite good too. I watched it with my neice & nephew before. It’s alot like those old silent cartoons, but with some modern edge to it.
I also liked Aardman’s “Creature Comforts” series. The American one they did used to be on Netflix and was quite amusing.

Yeah, there’s something about claymation that just looks inherently unsettling when used well, even if it’s not meant to be unsettling, at least in my opinion.

and I’m a huge Wallace and Grommit fan! Claymation is great
Maybe, it’s the narm charm, or uncanny valley. I must add, I love claymation. (Was big on Gumby as a kid.)

Amazing what they could before CGI, eh? Somehow if it was CGI, it wouldn’t look as scary.
I just typed “large marge gif” into google images. wasn’t that hard to find.
Here it is anyway
