As a comedian once said, we’ll heat that tea up the next morning, put it on your pancakes and you’ll never know.
I’ve never actually heard one of those, (and I’m no expert) so I’ll take your word for it.
I thought I’d read somewhere that AJ’s voice had been based on Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus (both from Tennesse) but with an added bit of “cowboy” (Texas) accent and mannerisms thrown in, hence my guess about what her accent was.
I think I’ve read someone who knows more about accents than me say it was a Missouri Ozarks accent.
Depends on how you make it. You can always just add less sugar.
The cultural issue is that with too little sugar, you risk going from sweet tea to “sweetened tea.”
…and that just ain’t right.

Thanks, I didn’t know that. I’ve mostly seen them in movies, and then always containing some alcoholic drink that ranged between “kicking like a horse”, and “this’ll make you go blind”.
