And that family guy skit was a reference to that particular character. That joke worked because Adam West got Alex Trebeck to say his name backwards.

I know. But the delivery wasn’t set up for the joke to work like that.
I know, but you did wrong. Rainbow Dash does not say his name backwards, Spitfire does. If she were saying “Eriftips” and then disappeared, would make more sense.
