You’re right in that changing yourself to please another pony… or person… isn’t really a good thing, but change in itself isn’t bad, and sometimes a person direly needs to change to please themselves.
On a side note, I’d argue that people change just a little when they’re in a relationship, and not always in a bad way.
That is a very good point. I seem to have over-generalised yet again.
Well… speaking as someone who would like to change himself, sometimes there are traits you don’t want to be a part of you… and sometimes it takes love to finally push you to change yourself.
I say this on this image in particular because Rainbow has some of the traits I wish I had some of - confidence and ability, and that’s why I have a crush on her.
