I guess I’m only really familiar with the videos and not the blog. Sure they might make me laugh, but I still see it as a gag and not any kind of serious story. Maybe OP is just trolling, in which case I’ve fallen for it.

Hardly abandoned. The changelings were integrated into pony society in the Flufflepuff universe.

Agreed and as much as I would like to see Chrysalis come back in the show and possibly get the same levels of reformation she does in the fluffle puff stuff which would mean we get see Chrysalis more and her changelings would get to integrate into pony society I get the feeling ever since Starlights botched reformation even if it were done well there would be a huge outcry over it.
 
Her remaining a villain means her entire race remain villains as well despite that we have canon evidence that says Changelings can be docile.

I’m serious. I think it’s great how Fluffle handled Chrys’ reformation into a decent character and I admire her a lot for it.

Also the only canon/oc pairing that isn’t 100% cringe

Well, in-universe Chrysalis has come to terms with her new role as mild character foil for the Mane 6 and object of desire for a sentient ball of pink fluff, so I tend to agree.
