Loyalty - Disloyalty
Generous- Selfish
Kindness- Meanness
Laughter- Sadness
Honesty- Lying
Magic- Technology
Loyalty- Disgrace
After all, it’s always Twilight who organize and orchestrate others when it needed, she’s a pivot in their relation.
You know what i mean ?
Rarity is prone to theatrics like that, and she does try to be generous, even when it can hurt her, as seen in Rarity Takes Manehattan.
Fluttershy is very kind, but her patience does have its limits, as shown in the scene depicted above. Nevertheless, she immediately regrets her actions when she’s acting mean.
Pinkie, like many comedians/comediennes puts a lot into how people feel about her, and can have bad days, but luckily for her, the others remind her that they care, and so she bounces back and goes back to the fun and games.
In Applejack’s case, even she knows that sometimes a white lie can be necessary, but she always regrets doing so, which is why she always looks guilty when she does.
For Twilight, most magic is quantifiable, which allows it to be studied in a scientific manner.
For Rainbow Dash, she’s loyal to her friends, but she also has a competitive streak, and, as shown above, sometimes Pinkie’s antics become too much for her. Everyone wants to be alone every now and again, so you can’t really fault her for that one.
The Elements of harmony were poorly thought out.
Have a cookie.
With that logic:
*Pinkie, Fluttershy and Applejack are more generous than Rarity, they should be element of generosity.
*Pinkie have more friends than Twilight, she should be element of friendship/magic.
*Twilight is so loyal to Celestia, she should be element of loyalty…
You’re resorting to ad hominem. If this were a legitimate discussion, you’d have already lost.
Least honest =/= incapable of telling truth. Applejack can’t tell a good lie, even if it’s about some surprise party.
So you’re just delusional then? Okay.
No implying about it. I’m explicitly stating it.
>Implying
Applejack: Why of all the… This is your sister Applejack, remember? The loyalest of friends and the most dependable of ponies?
Applejack: That’s why I came here. I wanted to earn some money. After that big old send off Ponyville gave me, I just didn’t have the nerve to come home empty-hooved. I couldn’t come home a failure.
“Dear Princess Celestia,
Today I learned a great lesson about family, which, if you think about it, is really the first group of friends you ever make. Turns out that when you’re with folks you care about, you don’t have to do much to make that time memorable. Even the simplest of activities can take on a whole lotta meanin’! And you’ll find that you’ll remember the “who” long after you’ve forgotten the “what”.”
Applejack’s episode are about having someone to depend on, someone that’ll always stick by your side no matter what.
Like how in Applebuck Season she learns that she can rely on her friends to help as much as they can always count on her.
Or how in The Last Roundup she realizes that she can always go back to her family and they’ll still love her.
The first test in Friendship is Magic Part One really should’ve given Rainbow Dash Honesty and Applejack Loyalty, but it would probably be hard to write that in considering it was the second episode…
Rainbow Dash: Mine’s just not as cool as I was imagining. She asked.
Rainbow Dash: [sighs] I’m an egghead.
…That book is undeniably, unquestionably, un-put-down-able! But then I had to put it down; I was sent home before I could finish it.
Rainbow Dash: Hey, I’m gonna tell you something, but if you ever tell anypony else, I’m gonna deny it. First time I heard those stories… I was scared too.
Rainbow Dash: …And if being reckless is what gets rewarded around here, if that’s what it means to be a Wonderbolt, then I don’t want any part of it. I quit.
She’s prideful, but she’s still brutally honest, and even honest to her own values.
I want to clarify I use the term “ass” in the context of a rude, pompous person, I know how much people love Rainbow Dash’s buttocks, I can verify her bottom does not change size between episodes!
And the biggest ass…only in some episodes. Cuz you know, consistency between episodes is for eggheads :P
Rainbow Dash is probably the least honest member of mane six.
Twilight’s square is the only one that doesn’t work, because of that.
(nevermind that Twilight is doing Science very poorly throughout that episode, to the point she should not be allowed to Science)
Although I hate Friendship Is Witchcraft, one thing they did get right is that AJ and RD really should switch elements. Not that AJ’s a serial liar (she’s not), but Rainbow is far more honest with ponies, to the point that she’s frankly a jerk.
Oh, fun story. At the University I used to attend, someone printed out a high-quality pic of Flutterrage there, put the words “LOVE ME” under it, and taped it to an emergency phone on campus. I figured someone would take it down immediately, but it stayed up there for nearly a year, when it finally disappeared as the entire area was dug up for redevelopment.
