The thing is that Twilight was decidedly NOT being scientific in her studies of Pinkie Pie. She was attempting to Deny the Antecedent, which is a logical fallacy.
They’re in a world where magic is a verifiable, repeatable, testable phenomenon. If that were the case here, we would also have a scientific field devoted to studying it.

Let us proceed to go back to Friendship is Magic Part 2 and see if we can find the answer.
Nightmare Moon: You still don’t have the sixth Element! The spark didn’t work!
Twilight Sparkle: But it did! A different kind of spark. I felt it the very moment I realized how happy I was to hear you, to see you, how much I cared about you. The spark ignited inside me when I realized that you all… are my friends! You see, Nightmare Moon, when those Elements are ignited by the… the spark, that resides in the heart of us all, it creates the sixth element: the element of… magic!
Sorry I don’t get Twis’ and Dashes Pics.
Ok Six Twi,. I kinda get the Science is the antithesis of Magic.
But still need an explanation on Dash here.
A better Still would have been the One from the end of Return to Harmony Pt1.
Speaking of which. I don’t think DisQord had actually disQrded Dash, at the time she had mad her choice between her “Wings” (To go off and save Cloudsdale), or her Friends. DisQord just gave her the choice between the Two. So much for loyalty then…
I think Twilight’s picture should be that time she got stopped by a gate. When she can teleport. Because she knows all this great magic but sucks at knowing when to use it.
If anyone can be defined with one simple word, that someone is not a person, is a BRICK.
We try to make characters similar to real people, so they MUST have flaws, they MUST be a bit inconsistent sometimes, and they MUST fuck things up, just like we real people do.
