But you forgot something. Assuming you do give it a try, she’d also likely be the type to help you out with those issues. She’d do her best to get you feeling better about yourself by working on what she can help you with, and getting help with the things that she can’t. She’d be, in a sense, your rock in your rehabilitation. And going through an experience like that together, would only deepen the feelings you have for each another.  
But boy do I know how you feel.

See, it depends highly on the personality of the individual who’s with her, particularly their self-esteem and self-love. For someone like me who thinks nothing of themselves, this can only result in seriously negative ramifications with the passing of time.
 
… It’s bad enough that her friends are either the types not to sugarcoat things, the types to be invasive, the types to gossip, or… whatever Pinkie Pie does, insecurity party, I dunno… but the last thing I’d be able to face, even for that.

I beg to differ. I’d say it’s much better to be in a relationship with her. After all, since she’s able to honestly say how she feels/what she thinks at all times, instead of sugarcoating or lying about anything. If she thinks you’re starting to pick up some unhealthy eating habits, she’ll say it. If you ask what’s getting her down, she’ll freakin’ tell you exactly what’s eatin’ her. And in the case of intimacy, it’s obviously the best case scenario. No lies in or out of the bedroom.  
Of course, this is all assuming you can even get past the intense nervous sweating, your brain-draining boner and actually talk to her.

I’m disturbingly okay with it. Not because of the whole “beastiality”-thing, but more that I’d really hate to be the one to try and make a relationship work with the Element of Honesty.
