It was just one comic panel, oddly she looked kinda cutesy in some other panels in the same issue. I kinda like how Andy Price exaggerates facial expressions sometimes.

Yeah.. To take a page from Pigs Three Different Kinds, the second F’ed up old hag was a stab at Lady Margaret Thatcher.
So yeah I get the derivation. But, still think IDW Chrissy is too sharp a contrast to what we’ve seen in show. Which actually, now that I think about this. I find rather disturbing. Heck even Tirek has a touch of cutesy about him, that he probably had no bussnes for. Other then not overly terrorising young girls.
You’ve never heard someone call a woman an “old hag” as an insult before? I mean, I guess I could explain how comic Chrysalis is one, but it’d involve language that would probably get the comment deleted and start a war.
How does one act like a wrinkled old hag, as opposed to looking like one?

No I ment looks like, in the IDW-verse. She’s definitly epic al-la Eddie (Iron Maden) epic looking. But, cute FIM Chrissy is best Chrissy.
Pretty sure he meant she acts like a hag, not looks like a hag.
Maybe she needs a fresh dose of love to keep her looking youthful, like a less grimdark Elizabeth Bathory.
Wars, soul-stealing, kidnappings, time destruction, time and space destruction, changelings in general, death by greed, I think a little royal infant kidnapping is below the bar that’s been set thus far.
It’d be a great plotline, though I wonder if it’d be considered too dark for the target audience.
