A mix-up at the Kindle store is giving customers a copy of Spiderman instead of Friends Forever 24.
“THAT WALL-CRAWLING MENACE IS AT IT AGAIN!!!”
@soundtea
P.S. Is that Sheer Heart Attack?! NO WEAKNESSES!?
Oh, that gif is adorable. Granted, I do have a soft spot for Pepper; she and Vinnie were the main reasons I watched that show when I got the Hub.
I just really like you and want you to be happy. Be my friend? :)

You seem to have an unhealthy fixation, my friend.
Well, at the moment, I do. I don’t have a grudge, I’m just making an observation. If I had a grudge I’d follow him around and harass him. But on a website with a relatively low number of memorable ‘characters’, it’s not really hard to recognize someone and remember something they said, and when a significant portion of what they say (or least what I see of what they say) is either berating someone for uploading “garbage” or having a different opinion, it leaves an impression. I’m sure he’s an alright guy/girl/etc. IRL like the rest of us, but he seems pretty hostile almost every time I see him.
Thank you for not springing for the easy Frozen reference, by the way.
So you don’t care about the topic, just about Tex. That’s… infinitely worse. I don’t know what grudge you have against him, but let it go (COME ON AND SLAM), let it go (WELCOME TO THE JAM).
How can I care? I’ve literally never read a comic book in my life, let alone an IDW MLP comic book. Hell, I don’t even know what IDW stands for. Just because I’m making fun of your mannerisms doesn’t mean I care about the original discussion. That’s not to mention how I was talking in a general sense. You’re not just flustered about people saying IDW sucks (honestly, why does this bother you this much? And while I’m parenthesized, why do people care this much about IDW’s quality? I’m pretty sure you don’t have to buy them), you get mad at…pretty much everything.
I really don’t care
Yes, clearly you’re just 2KOOL4SKOOL, that’s why you’ve had more posts with more words ITT than I have.
You don’t understand, I really don’t care. Like I said, I have no stake in this fedorafest of a ‘debate’. These people could have paid $1,000 for a non-refundable comic that had it’s text written entirely in the Zodiac cipher, I still wouldn’t care. Actually, I would probably laugh, but w/e. I just find it funny that you almost always seem pissed about stuff that shouldn’t matter. To anyone.
@Mr. Horrible
Well vocab’d, my friend. I’ve always liked that word for some reason.
No, no! We’ve got to link this to other, completely unrelated incidents to weave together a narrative about how IDW is intentionally making their MLP series bad because they hate the series and all of its fans!
No brakes on the apophenia train!
In fact acting like a asshurt toddler when you try to make an argument just makes it look like you’re afraid of being wrong.
BP confirmed for complete lack of irony.
The bottom line here is that it is functionally impossible for IDW to have been responsible for a digital misdelivery involving a first-run current issue of another company’s comic book, something which would have been patently obvious to anyone who wasn’t approaching the matter with a predetermined anti-IDW bias. Meanwhile, Amazon is a business which does this sort of thing.
I’d have to assume the folks at comixology or wherever who convert the publisher-submitted e-docs to their proprietary format have a template they use, and forgot to clear out Spidey’s file after replacing the cover image.
You can be right and not salty, you know. In fact acting like a asshurt toddler when you try to make an argument just makes it look like you’re afraid of being wrong.
>inb4 dur IDW h8er ur just mad n stupid
I don’t even care, I don’t have any interest in reading or hating comic books based off a lil’ grills’ show.
If you go to the actual Amazon product page, AnchorPoint’s review mentions that the issue he got was The Amazing Spider-Man #6, which was released by Marvel this month. Not a reprint. The Spider-Man reprints that IDW are doing are being published only in expensive hardcover editions. Not digital, 24-page-count installments.
But hey, continue spreading easily-disproven allegations that this is IDW’s fault; it’ll just further undermine the credibility of the anti-IDW side.
@Background Pony #9DCD
Better salty than wrong.
Still salty?
the comic send to amazon was a The Amazing Spiderman reprint. IDW are publishing The Amazing Spiderman reprints https://www.idwpublishing.com/product-category/library-of-american-comics/spiderman/
it’s entirely their fault
Isn’t it more likely this screw up was on Amazon’s end? Or some third party between Amazon and IDW?
Sssshhhh– don’t interrupt the haters while they’re in a bitchfrenzy by pointing out the gaspingly obvious, it only makes them bitch even harder.
But that’s a Marvel comic. How can this technical problem be IDW’s fault if it involves a file they should not even have access to? Isn’t it more likely this screw up was on Amazon’s end? Or some third party between Amazon and IDW?
