Bruhh… °<°
There is no more war, now, only silence…
War, war never changed…
Try to avoid violence if you can but if violence is required then throw everything you have at them until nothing is left but a crater
Mahatma Gandhi
He’s reluctant to go to war, and willing to be friends, and treats his friends well, but if you cross him or his people then destruction, suffering, and death are all that await you
What do you mean by “wrong game” ?
Not super aggressive, just ULTRA NUCLEAR.
That shit’s why I always play with Abundant resources. I know that where I start will have at least SOME excellent shit.
Ideally I start on or adjacent to a non-hills tile that is next to a mountain, a desert tile, a long sprawling river and a body of water (ideally the ocean or a lake big enough to settle on the far side of)
And then I build ALL OF THE WONDERS. I am never very popular in the world congress and generally just keep maintaining sufficiently good terms with other nations so as to keep their borders open and culture jam in everyone’s faces until I win without a fight by the early Modern era. Always go Freedom, so as to maintain unbeatable relations with every single city state I can connect a trade route to, and to have absurdly powerful Great Tile improvements. (Fully upgraded; Holy Sites: 3 gold, 3 culture, 8 faith. Academy: 16 science. Landmark: 11 culture. Maufacturies: 9 production. Customs house: 9 gold. And all of those get an additional 2 culture if I don’t mind risking pissing off the other nations by proposing Historical Monuments since they never want me to have that for some reason.)
I started in a desert. I had all adjacent non-diagonal tiles as ocean tiles. Ghandi had an archer. He started close enough I could see him before his turn started. I did not know about Civ!Ghandi yet.
>Not settling on the first turn.
Did you get absolutely nothing in terms of luxury resources or any wheat at all?
He killed my Settler.
Damn son, you lost to 1 warrior?
He was the first civ I met in my first playthrough of my first game. I lasted 5 turns.
I know he was a very pacifist man.
It’s ironic because in reality he’s probably the least aggressive person that ever lived who had to face aggression.
Which makes him kinda ironic as a character….
I haven’t played any Civ games, but that sorta sounds ironic.
That was a glitch in the original Civ.
Gandhi had a natural aggression value of 1, the lowest in the game. Gandhi favors Democracy and Democracy lowers a civ’s aggression by 2, and they used an unsigned int, so when India became democratic:
1 - 2 = 255
In the games since then they made him super aggressive on purpose.
Well then… I can’t tell if that’s suppose to be offensive or redundant. XD
Actually that’s an Ascended Glitch.
That’s right. They deliberately made it that way.
Our words are backed with Nuclear Weapons.
That’s Ghandi! He’ll pull the nuclear trigger at the drop of a hat!
No, he means, the war declaration meme.
