I don’t know if it’s a good idea to use that, but maybe it can work since Ponibooru is not used anymore.  
Maybe I can make a Java .jar file for every other platform (that can run a JVM, of course).

Well, I dunno about “better”… the script is just one big hack. But it works. I estimated it would take about three weeks for it to get every page, if running 24/7. Not sure if I want to DOS PB like that.

I was going to write a script to dump the HTML from image pages so I could parse it later, but if you already have something better…

lol “fucking windows” yeah, I know. Often PB images had so many tags that you had to edit the filename if you were under Windows, because it was too long.
 
By coincidence, I hacked together a simple script that is can extract the image statistics, faves, score, tags and comments if you give it an image number. It uses cookies to authenticate, so even explicit images work. The script works, but PB is so slow that it is impossible to get everything out before it goes dark.
