The ONLY proper response… Whip it!

I love Jay Fosgitt’s stuff to pieces, but yeah… this was bottom-of-the-barrel awful.

I already had a problem with jay fosgitt’s art but that is just lazy and there’s no excuse

The worst part is that it’s really obvious given the bad style clash compared to all the other cutie marks in the show.

I want to beat that flank like Whip Cream, or Egg Whites

Well, I meant to say that if they don’t have the proper license info displayed somewhere as well, that’s technically breaking the license.

The first two images in Its’ post are both obviously created from the same vector file. The solid black one has a white stroke around the handle parts (making the handle appear thinner and the hole in the handle larger) while the second one has a silver gradient applied to some parts. Both files are uploaded to sweetclipart.com. The solid black one is also uploaded to clipartpanda.com
 
It’s possible that sweetclipart is the actual owner, or it may have come from some other clipart library.
 
Either way, legitimately licensed or not, it seems like more work to me to go find a clipart image then scale and rotate it properly than to just ink in a whisk quickly.
 
Maybe this was added in later in the process by the colorist or editor?

There are dozens of sites hosting the exact same wisk clip art.  
Some of them might be stealing it too.

Yep.

It’s true, google “cooking whisk clipart”. It’s literally copypasted from the site, and worse it’s marked as not for COMMERCIAL USE.
