She has potential to showcase that she can take after her father; being wealthy and “in charge”, thus able to financially leverage things other youngsters wouldn’t be able to. She was doing this in a negative way, but now she can do it in a positive manner.
 
Throw in the wrench of not wanting the business side of it to go askew in favor of blind friendship and she has a morality vs justice situatin going on.

Yeah, though surprisingly many fans forget how nice Mr. Rich was. (Ignoring his EqG, & IDW versions.)
 
Considering how Tiara was the only kid that liked seeing her Dad (during “Family Appreciation Day”) and even his “boring lecture,” it was actually quite how adorable how much Tiara seemed to genuinely adore him during that scene. (Meanwhile she feared her mother offscreen.) I imagine Bloom and such kinda disrespecting her Dad (acting bored, sleepy, and such, which most teachers IRL wouldn’t tolerate) might’ve also been what influenced her to try to make AB ashamed of her Granny. She was probably jealous that everyone liked some “kooky old lady” better then her Daddy, and didn’t understand why they didn’t see him as “great” as she did, and such. It probably made her sad deep down.
 
Despite being richer, I think Tiara was always kinda jealous of Bloom, and the CMC, which was kinda hinted at in the series, especially in her redemption episode.

There were hints of more to her with how Mr. Rich was treating her and utterly disapproving of her actions, meaning she had to be getting it from somewhere else.
