Video Game General 2: Definitive/Remastered Edition

For some reason, everytime I connect my earphones in my laptop, it decides to check if the audio works by opening a random media archive, not matter if is visual or audio only.
 
This time, it picked up a random audio .mp3 from the Duke Nukem folder, and the audio was a Duke Nukem quote saying that “Its time to Go Postal”.
 
Not sure if thats a good or bad sign.

I do something like that since my laptop is fickle wit the audio and may have the voices be practically muted.

I always wondered something. How come no one tried to make a drawing guide app? Like, there are literal books to teach you how to draw step-by-step and yet, no one had the bright idea of making it into a PC app? It’d be like Cooking Mama, except for drawings.

Technically, “Cooking Mama” is more of a minigame-style game, it doesn’t teach you to cook.
 
Nintendo actually has an “Art Academy” series for teaching drawing, using the DS, 3DS, and WiiU touchscreen, and stylus like a pen. There’s even a “Pokémon” edition.
 
They even made the art guide character/mascot for that series Vince an assist trophy in SSBUltimate.

If I didn’t know any better I would say XCOM 2 took its cues from UFO Aftershock. There’s a surprising number of similarities in the gameplay elements.
 
Which would be cool since the UFO Afterblank series was clearly inspired by XCOM.

Due to Black Friday sale going on a little early, I thought I’d go and pick up AI: The Somnium Files, considering that game has my interest, plus, I’ll look into getting Ni No Kuni later this week.
 
Edit: Plus, due to Gamestop’s Buy 2, Get 1 Free deal, I’ll look into getting some 3ds games too.

If you want to try Pokemon, I recommend the DS or the Alpha and Omega games.

Oh yeah. I like how Diamond and Pearl had nowhere near a complete Dex, but Sword and Shield are getting shit for it. But that’s none of my business.

Diamond and Pearl had every Pokemon at the time coded into the game. Sword and Shield do not.

In which case my question becomes “why the hell can’t you catch them all?”

The problem with SnS (the dex one at least) is that you can’t bring over mons that aren’t in the dex other than the non-Charmander starter lines and gen 5/7 legendaries. No one is ignorant to D/P’s weak regional dex, but you still could transfer mons not in said regional dex up after beating the story.

How many pokemon are there now?

And I know people who like it and still calls out on that being bullshit. Just because people enjoy something doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have serious problems.
 
And I already knew about the lack of megas and Z-moves, as well as the recycled textures (which makes their claim that they didn’t include mons to make better graphics a lie).

I already have Alpha Sapphire, I’m thinking about getting SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Dragon Quest VII and Senran Kagura 2.

How many did each entry add? We’re up to what, the 7th generation now?

8 and usually 80 or so.

The last gen to add more than 100 pokemon was gen 5.
