Look at A-holes like Michael Moore that made millions extorting labor workers and how bad “Muh corporations” are, and when a republican candidate comes along saying “Hey, I’m gonna try and help you out.” he starts screaming about how evil he is and backs the corporate candidate.

Middle and lower classes might pay slightly lower taxes for a short time under this new policy, but the big winners are the uppermost income tiers, and the loss of revenue will almost inevitably lead to Republicans wanting to cut Social Security and Medicaid to compensate. Republican politicians (and I might even say most self-professed conservative public figures) are fundamentally untrustworthy when it comes to anything having to do with economics. It’s always about “limited government” and being “efficient”, which is just code for cutting social programs and pulling the rug out from under infrastructure.

Just smart enough to back off before they shoot themselves in the foot, the tax bill could well cost them seats, pissing on programs that poll in the upper 70% range minimum especially when your voters are the most dependent on them could spell a big problem, if a few more idealistic dems make it in and combined with the establishment ones have a unvetoable majority, they could force through some big wins which could undo all the work the tax bill did and maybe finally hasten the republican’s decline, or worse someone could introduce the Amendment to ban money from politics and make it a major issue forcing everyone to either vote for it or admit they are corrupt,

How is it a “scam” when everyone pays lower taxes?
Given the entire House of Representatives though is up for re-election the best chance for some shocking redistribution of power in the legislature will likely end up there.
