I was under the impression that
solo female/male got changed to apply to safe images too, but I guess that’s females/males only?Regardless, that BP definitely needs a timeout for repeatedly undoing tag changes made by multiple mods.

why do “solo female”, “solo male”, “males only”, and “females only” not belong on safe images? “duo female”, “duo male”, and “duo male and female” don’t say anything about provocative or sexual manner, so why do the “solo” and “only” tags do though? “solo futa”, “solo herm”, “solo cuntboy”, “solo male herm”, and “solo busty boy” make sense to not be on safe images but “solo female” and “solo male” don’t make sense. why is that?

Because we inherited those tags from porn sites, they’re meant to act as an psuedo-sexual orientation tag where those tags wouldn’t make sense.

As for the duo tags, well they used to not apply to safe images. I couldn’t even begin to understand why it was thought changing that policy would be a good idea if the same change wasn’t going to be applied to the solo tags.

Solo fe/male have a long-standing legacy dating back to Ponibooru, when tagging and searching ability was at an all time low, where there was no other way to really find or filter that stuff out, and they stayed that way here over time due to the fact that a lot of people’s filters, watching, and blacklists are already set with this definition in mind. The same was not true about the duo or trio tags (but still are for fe/males only) so changing the tag usages now would lead to a lot of people blocking all solo male images as they did that assuming all were cocks. Or if you’re me, suffer even more struggle blacklisting solo female lewds from your watchlist.

“evilbutt” has become a popular meme in the fandom. I looked and I found that there’s a tag for plot-shots of Opaline named “Opal-ass” (though it has few entries). How do people feel about replacing “Opal-ass” with “evilbutt”? Make each of those two tags imply each other.

An opinion tag. Hard to say how it differs from op is a duck - apart from excluding onymous posts, which can be accomplished on its own in a search or complex filter like this.

As you say, there isn’t any particular character with a near-monopolization-strength association with evil like there is for sun, love, moon, or apple - so if it becomes widely adopted by fandom culture, I don’t mind it being a little unspecific.
