I still think
[character]'s [object] tags should only apply to images where the object is present but not the character, or some other character is using the object instead. Like, Apple Bloom’s hair bow sitting on the bedstand, or Rarity wearing the Stinky Bottom Special while Applejack is busy.

hair bow doesn’t, then? It seems like unnecessary clutter and effort for it to exist on 50,000+ images which already have apple bloom and hair bow, solely to account for the ~100 where the bow is present but she’s not. LightningBolt

Do “implied [whatever]” tags apply to stories in descriptions? In particular, (NSFW) >>3056233 would have none of its 10 “implied [whatever]” tags if tagged based on the image alone.

Here, ‘woah’ is almost certainly just uploaders misspelling “whoa”, but in general usage “whoa” is a one syllable word which sounds like “wo–” with a drawn-out hard O, while “woah” is a two syllable word which sounds like “wo ah–”, with a long drawn-out “ah”.

Otherwise, it could be to separate posts from things like screencaps, exploitable memes, “text only”, etc. without having to remember all the myriad “not art” tags…but that seems like an impossibly subjective can of worms.
Some other dubiously useful/useless tags: fanart (as opposed to…oc only? AUs? Or what?), original art (as opposed to…base edits? Redraws? Or what?)

Great reasoning there. :)
Fanart would probably be for fanbases as tributes to fan-created culture (like Fallout Equestria for example); original art could stand for artstyles differentiated from show or canon style. At least that’s my take :)
