Scariest scenes in the show?

When Applejack walked in to find Apple Bloom had developed a third cutie mark, was tap dancing uncontrollably, and was desperately crying “Help me!”

I read this shit?
Not really scary for the viewer but scary for the character, when Sweetie Belle was being subjected yo visions of Rarity’s dark future in FWTSBT.

Twilight mass murdering a bunch of mentally handicapped children, although that was more an existential horror than I primal one.
I guess Lesson Zero had some pretty frightening parts as well.

Go Watch Helluva Boss
Let’s be honest…there’s really nothing legitimately scary in this show.
But I can think of four moments that kinda made my eyes widen a bit~

- “Cliffhanger to Return of Harmony”
Far from the show’s darkest moment, but try having this be the first “new” episode you watch as a brony. You first saw the show towards the tail-end of season one, but didn’t actually become a fan until the hiatus. So having the episode end on such a downer was a bit shocking.
- “Chrysalis Reveals Herself”
This was creepy as hell and still is.
- “King Tirek”
The closest a major villain has gotten towards victory and the absolute definition of a “darkest hour”. Tirek getting alicorn magic and growing to a titanic size was a definite “oh crap, they’re doomed” moment.
- “The Crystal War Timeline”
Hands-down the show’s darkest imagery to date. Even if the actual combat was toned down to a mere “slap-fight” onscreen, the rest of it was shockingly grim: Equestria locked into a brutal war of attrition, the entire landscape scarred by battle or industrialized for the war effort, the Friendship Express stripped down, a filly being among the drafted recruits, Sombra brainwashing the innocent Crystal ponies to fight for him, Rainbow Dash losing her wing and part of her ear, etc. The parallels to the first two world wars also up the grimdark factor.

I watched the Season 5 Finale with my mother and she thinks the train might have been a concentration camp transport.

Zapping the Pinkie clones and either killing or trapping them in the mirror pool. It was real scary in a super unsettling kind of way.

And also what happens right after with her violently throwing Starlight around and feeding off Thorax, this was just the start of creepiness that lasts for a good couple minutes.

Also from the recent episode, in the hospital, the doctors thought Big Mac was ill so they almost went with amputating one of his hind legs.

Fluttershy’s eye-hallucinating panic attack in “Hurricane Fluttershy”
Nearly five years later and that thing is still creepy.
And while not scary, I did cringe when Pinkie broke her teeth apart eating Gilda’s scone.
