G4 can coexist with G5, as long as there’s fans that love G4.

I say this because Hasbro (for the moment) still has a 40% stake in Discovery Family and Warner Bros. is going to merge with Discovery in a few months from now.

Then again, they could also move all Hasbro related cartoons to either Paramount+ (given their current production and distribution pact with Paramount) or possibly Peacock, since it is owned by NBC Universal and both NBCU and Hasbro (through their buying of Entertainment One) have a stake in Amblin Entertainment’s parent company.

The same parent company that’s currently located in within Universal City.

Yea, but I see more people who dislike everything post-Season 4 than others who do like it. Which explains why I always think that G4 will be forgotten after the series ended and everything else G4 related is cancelled in favor of G5.

In all seriousness, let me offer a flashback to Hascon. It’s the LPS panel where the Hasbro rep is introducing LPS 2017 and the room is just asking questions about LPS 2012 and why it was cancelled. The rep finally just says the old show is still going to exist and if you want to watch it some form of another you can. That’s where G4 is now as far as Hasbro’s concerned.

Yea but since Netflix takes off all of G4 or just seasons 2-8, the rest will either move to Hulu (and probably Disney+ since Disney channels aired the 2017 movie and Disney+ has PJ Masks at the time eOne getting bought by Hasbro is still in progress) or Tubi.

Not really. I started browsing the internet for porn in 2004, and I joined the fandom in 2010. I was in this fandom for 11 of my 17 years of unrestricted internet access, so I don’t think it’s an unreasonable statistic.

Honestly, even if MLP is taken off of Netflix, Hasbro’s gonna put it elsewhere. The show was too successful for them to just toss it aside.

The likely place is Hulu, since they already (randomly) got Season 9, so it’d make sense for them to nab the rest of it. Or they’ll put it on Tubi, like they did with the 2012 LPS series.

Well, that’s just the downside of streaming. Sometimes, your favorite shows move to a platform that has less features than the one it was at previously.

To compare it to something that bothers a lot of PC gamers, it’s like when a game moves from being on Steam to being on the Epic Games Store.
