That’s an (erroneous unless the site code can’t call one function from two places) reason for moving it up top, not a reason for keeping it separate, which is “users don’t need it up top, moderators do”.

Okay, well, it’s an inconvenience when the stuff you actually want to see 1st gets pushed down because of it. It’s completely useless and annoying to users who were only banned once. It needs to go back the way it was.

Believe me, there are some users who are helped very much by the reminder of their past bans. And on several occasions we’ve had people say that seeing those reminders helped them change their behavior.

Just how often are you looking at your own profile? I’m just curious what the use case is here.

The whole reason for my ban was because someone kept adding a tag that I felt shouldn’t be on an image so I kept removing it. In the process of my argument/discussion in the comments with that person, apparently a mod decided to re-add the tag and not make mention of it so I had assumed it was that user doing it again. It happened several times and I usually don’t bother checking tag history to see who added/removed a tag, I just open the tag editor and do what I need. So my ban was because of me removing a mod’s added tag several times as I didn’t know it was a mod doing it.
 
But apparently now that’s just permanently there on my profile at the top? Despite me almost never visiting my own or anyone’s profile… it’s still a bit annoying.

About every several days, to check my reports and see amount of my tag’s watchers (for which banlist up top is just annoying, but would be an actual interference for the latter if it was long enough to push that offscreen), and occasionally to check my badges.

A couple times a day. It’s annoying when all I had to do was simply load the page; I didn’t have to do anything, and now I have to scroll down every time. It’s just an extra step that didn’t used to be there. And the vast majority of users aren’t repeat offenders. The the priority should be given to the vast majority, not a tiny percentage of people. I also don’t see how it’s more convenient for the user to change the rows from 5 images to 4 or for the statistics to take precedence over uploads or favorites.

It’s also inconvenient for if you want to look at other peoples’ profiles, since statistics is at the top; most people don’t care about the number of the various interactions you’ve had with the site; they care about uploads and favorites, but now there’s this big block they have to scroll past to see it every time.
 
I also noticed a 3rd category was just added, recent artwork. This is a redundant category that is also placed above uploads and favorites (and was also already taken care of by their artist tag) and is therefore an inconvenience for the same reason, just another thing to have to scroll past to get to favorites.

Is this the right place to point out that the Search Posts function for threads has completely changed? Was that intentional? Because the previous iteration was very useful and easy to use.

How the hell do you even search for anything on the forums anymore?

“Reply” button should be inserting the link code at the cursor position rather than the end of the message.

The frontpage is now filled with all kinds of fields. Is an option to turn these off (featured image, watched images and so on.) possible?

Also why does clicking the notification for a PM take me to the main list instead of strait to the message?

You can’t see watch counts for a given tag (Though I think mods can) but artists who’ve made user links can see watch counts for their own tag(s) in the sidebar of their own user-page.

The site seems to log me out automatically much faster than I remember.

Have you tried cleared the site cookies?

Something I just noticed that is rather inconvenient is what is done with webm thumbnails now. I liked how it was where it had a semi-spoiler warning (black bar saying it was webm at the top of a thumbnail) and it would just cut together a series of still images from it to show what it was. Now I’m getting 13meg thumbnails of full webm videos in gif format which is just too much. Even more so when there’s several that pop up on a page at a time.
 
I tried the other method for showing them as video thumbnails and that slows down my computer quite a bit when I do that as it still plays the full video in the thumbnail. I also tend to have other things going in the background that require use of more video playing resources like either games or youtube.
 
Anyway we can go back to the previous style of thumbnails for webm files?

So much ^this. It was snappier for me to browse this way without having to load large files. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is eating the heck out of limited data connections too.

One day later, i can confirm that it is eating significantly more data than normal, probably prohibitively so. It’d be nice if that got added, for now i might actually need to spoiler webms just to get pages to load faster than a snail’s pace.

Yeah, every change from switching servers has been negative. I can’t think of a single change to the user-side that was for the better.
 
Also, if we can edit comments in forums indefinitely, could that please be extended to under pictures?
