Is it possible to add a second page view in the Commissions viewer at the bottom of it? I don’t like to scroll back up to the top every time, and it’d be a great Quality of Life update.

What if there was an option to stop certain tags from being added to your uploads? Like if you made a drawing, and people got the wrong interpretation and kept trying to tag it as something it wasn’t. Or you drew porn and wanted that under a separate name, but people knew it was you and kept putting your original name on it.

If people keep mistagging your image, bring it up in the description/comments and ask them to stop it. If they continue, bring in the mods.
 

 
Many people have alternative artist tags for this purpose.

I asked because an artist tagged their porn under a different name so non-MLP clients wouldn’t google them and see horse porn, but people on here keep recognizing them and putting the original name.

Report an example image where that is happening. It might be Rule #8 but I would have to see it to know for sure. Depending on what is happening we might ask whomever is doing it to stop, or if it’s really bad we might lock the tags - it all depends.

You could’ve just reported the single user that bulk-changed the tags of that specific artist instead of vagueposting. hypocritical pega noises

How do you know what artist I’m talking about when my comments don’t say? Yeah, it naturally didn’t occur to me that they were all added by the same person and to check the tag history for that. And you could’ve simply been like “oh, it was all done by the same person” instead of deciding to passive-aggressively take a shot at me, which I was not expecting when I decided to try to help an artist, but here we are.

Or you could have just reported an image that demonstrates the problem you’re talking about. None of this conversation was necessary.

The change to the tags looks kind of cool, but the highlight on the numbers might be slightly too bright and distracting in the dark theme

Is there a snapshot of the various iterations Derpibooru has gone through? For times when you want a trip through nostalgia lane?

There is not, though you can look through the site itself, through the Wayback Machine and sites like archive.is, and you can ask a dev for a screencap of the site at a particular point in time.

(I’ve been screenshotting the site since 2012 (I never screenshotted the GRID VIEW and that still pisses me off :-( ), but I don’t have any place to upload anything unless I make a collage and upload it normally.)

I came here to see if anyone was mentioning this. When I go to look through the tags now I find my eye wanting to take in the numbers rather than the names and have to consciously focus on reading the names instead.

I’d say that it’s also too dark and distracting on the light theme.

What’s with the new tag design? The old variation was better and easier on the eyes.

(Nah, but I like it though. The highlight on the numbers helps focus the eyes. Makes more sense to put them on the right, too.)

I use the dark theme myself and I find it a bit difficult to decipher the tags at a glance now. It seems like they all run together with the new style on them and it takes more effort to see what tags an image has on it now. With the highlighted numbers it’s way too distracting when looking at them on a dark theme when my eyes tend to snap to the brighter numbers as opposed to what those number represent.
 
A bit of a color change with them would help or have alternate styles/colors for light and dark themes.
