I think everyone, myself included, has become too reliant on the internet. People have lived without the internet for thousands of years but if it went out for a month today, it’s like an emergency. We’d have to redefine how we do everything and go back to the stone age. Today’s kids can’t even imagine life without the internet, smartphones, social media, streaming, TikTok, etc. What the fuck happened?

well its a source of energy they drain and are powered by. Like how when you eat too much foood and you get sleepy… only LOVE has a more magical effect to it, depending on the type of pony. It makes sense that if a changeling fed on a pony with TOO MUCH love or high powered magical love.. that they would suffer some side effects… and id be willing to wager an Alicorn Ruler would have the perfect type to make any of them get woozy from over endulgance… particularly if its… applied.. like in your example. :P

My family and I were discussing this very recently coincidentally enough. but in our case it was about how much of our lives have changed thanks to owning Smart phones. Though as good as google can be, there is something I still enjoy most when it comes to reading info from a book. Something more and more people wont be enjoying as much. I mean, why pick up a giant 600 page book about a historical war, when you can just read a bunch of articles or Wikipedia? I however still enjoy my books… but cannot deny the heavy ease of use and comfort being able to simply “Double check” something online gives me.

Case in point we lost Power earlier today when repair people were working to fix a bad outlet… and people had trouble in the brief time we had no internet.

I’m not very familiar with the popular Fallout Equestria books that are so popular here in Canterlot and beyond. However, I’ve become aware that the Pegasi are sort of the bad guys in it, and they have their own sort of evil organization.

I know some of you like to see me wearing different things, and I guess a pegasus enclave suit is a good candidate. But Dust has told me before there isn’t like, one single thing they all wear, and some of it is like battle armor.

Any official sorta uniform for a high ranking pegasus in that group? Something I could replicate easily?

It’s good to have some books about things you’re really interested in in case the power goes out, which it will, but it doesn’t seem worth it anymore since like you said, we can just read a bunch of Wikipedia articles which are more up to date than a printed book that can’t be edited once published. The same goes for music. I still like my CDs and lots of people still listen to vinyl, but it’s more convenient just to stream it all on Spotify or YouTube or whatever.

Losing power is a lot worse than just losing the internet but I’m sure we can survive if the power goes out.

Ummm… I’m team T-mobile.

I don’t think I became to attached tbh, yeah, it become a necessity nowadays to own a phone for your daily needs like, linkin your credit cards, calls, messaging and the use of camera features…despite having the feature to navigate on the interwebs is a whole topic to talk about like consuming media.
This present is looking decent in compare to the upcoming future generations, believe me, it is not that bad as now.

Like our dear comrade Belmo, I enjoy reading physical books and own cd’s as well but the quality and as for quantity is such a whole new level. So, if the powers goes out, I have my backup. X3

You’re at difficult times and the fact that you came to tell us this here is such awesome from you, Countess, be at ease and have the all time to feel lighten again and that your beloved passing can rest.
