Independence Day, easy. But I have a soft spot for 2012. And there are a few I haven’t seen, so those standings aren’t final.

I forgot that he did Eight-legged Freaks. I only saw the trailers for that.

That said, I haven’t seen much of his works outside of Independence Day, Godzilla, and the Patriot

I like “Independence Day” too. I was a bit surprised when the AVGN called it a bad movie, and that supposedly a lot of people didn’t like it… Everyone I know liked it ok.

I suppose it was a bit campy at times, but that was kinda it’s charm. It was like a modern “humans VS aliens” B-movie in some ways, but it still seems more serious than a lot of other similar movies that came out sense.

I remember the Nostalgia Critic also saying it was bad. I think he described it as a movie to turn your brain off and enjoy if you want to, though it has been years since I’ve watched his review of it.

It’s kinda odd, considering he gave worse movies a pass.

I mean it was no way as cheesy as say “Cowboys VS Aliens.”

I like Independence Day, 2012, and The Day After Tomorrow. They’re scientifically inaccurate, but the destruction scenes are fun to watch.

Oh hey, I’m now another year older.

Sooner or later, I’m gonna start having an existential crisis over how old I’m getting, but for now, I’m just gonna celebrate my birth anniversary by playing XIV. And hopefully I don’t get the urge to buy another fucking outfit…

2012 easily. I don’t care that the movie is all special effects and city destruction over substance, my 11 year old self thought it was the coolest shit ever and now at 26, I still think it’s the coolest shit ever, screw the movie snobs who dislike it

I appreciate the birthmas wishes everyone. I ended up spending today doing my usual Sunday routine. Doing things around the house, and watching the new Bleach episode.

I did feel I should do SOMETHING to make today at least seem somewhat special. So I sat down and watched Kung Fu Panda 4.

I have… thoughts about the movie, to say the least.
