I like baked beans on toast; it’s overrated here in North America. Besides, if you find the taste of the beans too bland or something, just add a touch of good old HP Sauce! Easy peasy!

It’s known as a “brown sauce”, which in the UK refers to sauces that are brown in colour with a tart and peppery taste. It is somewhat similar to BBQ sauce, I suppose you could say.
Unlike BBQ sauce though, this sauce is more likely to be used as a breakfast condiment, especially by Britons or people of British ancestry.
