Funny thing, this comic was made in 2003, and… let’s just say “MAP” as an acronym has unfortunately taken a much worse meaning since then.

When they referred to Gadget as “the map”, my original interpretation was that they were just keeping her in captivity and using her as some kind of geographical “fountain of knowledge”.

But this plot here seems like something straight out of a weird circa 1990s-early 2000s Superman-type of suphero comic book!

Edit: I wouldn’t know if Superman comics are still that bizarre nowadays, but they were when I read them from the late 90s to the early 2000s

Oh no, it hasn’t taken that meaning in the comic itself, lol. In real life, some pedophiles refer to themselves as a M.A.P.—“minor-attracted person.” It’s gross and weird.
