Only in PMD is he actually evil. In the games or the anime he’s either neutral or a literal hero. I actually kind of like the latter though. Dark doesn’t always have to be evil, and it’s not his choice to give people nightmares. It’s kind of like Absol. Dark type Pokemon are always misunderstood.
