Fauna had a birthday today!
 

 
I gave her a custom-made wooden-block bookshelf, she said it was “expensive”. Maybe it just LOOKS that way? Anyway, she loved it, and I’m happy. The only other guest to show up was Bam. Both of them are deer, rather coincidental.

After some mildly grueling island hopping, i finally have the shop ready to begin construction!
 
Also, i didn’t mention before, but this camel dude showed up and i bought a mystery wallpaper from him.
 
Turned out to be one that makes my house look like a dungeon.

Yup.

I’m honestly shocked at hearing people say they’ve never played any of the previous Animal Crossing games.

This might be the best thing to come out of the Isabelle & Doom Slayer meme.

Yeah, it’s a pretty popular Nintendo series that’s reaching it’s 20th anniversary.
 
Regardless, it’s nice it’s attracting new fans. :)

A friend of mine came to visit last night.
 

My first Animal Crossing game was New leaf,my town has been going pretty good so far, now I just got to get a Switch and NH sometime

“New Leaf” is a good one to start with, and one of the best ones.  
It also introduced characters like Isabelle.

And Tom Nook has been the Antagonist ever since.

Naw, I think Nook’s pretty chill. I mean you can choose not to pay him back, and he won’t kick you out or anything like a real landlord. I think Tom Nook needs more love honestly.
 
I started with the first GameCube one too. …I know technically, the Japan-only N64 one is technically the first, but it’s pretty much the same game, seeing as the GameCube game was actually an improved remake of it.

I almost missed Daisy Mae (having woken up at around 11:28 AM this morning, as I’d gone to bed around 4 AM…hey, I’m on lockdown, I have no work to get up early for), but I did manage to grab 100 turnips at 110 Bells each.

I believe she’s from 5 AM (when a new day in the game starts) til noon. And no, I’m not doing time travel, I haven’t done it since I started the game at launch.

PETA says that if you own this game, you should NEVER be allowed to catch bugs or fish.

Aside from showing us some cruelty against animals, things like this is why we should ignore PETA.
