Thanks! Right now, I’m thinking I might just clean my slate and actually try to learn the fundamentals, including anatomy. Probably would help a lot considering how I already know certain poses can be a bit deceptive in their difficulty. Won’t be deleting anything that is still up though.
I did try to learn anatomy last year, but it was done in a really disoragnized way, relying on random art blogs found on Google, and I don’t think I really understood anything. Hopefully a good, clear, dedicated course (preferably free, but will spend any amount of money if I need to) will help, along with criticism from forums such as here. (I assume its fine to post studies unrelated to pony in the Art forum here? Wouldn’t mind genuine criticism from a website I regularly go to)
Doesn’t help that I also regularly felt the pressure to post something, anything online and ended up rushing everything. THAT along with the procrastination are two really unhealthy things I need to work on.
Basically, that Lighthoof and Shimmy Shake bunny suit drawing I recently deleted has really caused me to re-evaluate much of my mentality, habits and life choices, and I don’t entirely want to give up art either. nor do I want to make all the same mistakes again, just hoping I’m not beyond repair.
