Plus, there’s a lot of things I did in the past that I’m… not proud of and would rather forget.

Not at all. I was merely saying that some folk reminiscence heavily about the past because some things honestly were better back then.

But we should definitely also look to the future and enjoy things as we come.

So… I should continuously re-live my trauma from that horrible week-long camp for heavily-disabled teens (more disabled than me) and that one counselor who tried to… ugh, do nasty things to me?

Relive, no. But remember, yes. Those times made you, you. Scars, wounds and all.

It is important to move on, and try and heal, but never forget.

We are the sum of a million, million moments. An ever changing, ever evolving spirit in constant flux. Our shadows and shines shape us in equal measure. Our pain can be a guide, that’s important to remember, because when left unaddressed said pain can also become a stone around our necks.

I just had a check up with my physician and psychiatrist today and it came with a morbid warning……..

You see… I’m 25 years old going 26 in about 4 months from now and based on my DNA analysis, I now currently have over 16 years left to live if I do not change my current lifestyle. I’ve been through some potentially-serious shit regarding my health like my lingering signs of Diabetes, immune system weakened by past illnesses over the course of lifetime and Depression.

Besides being a little chubby, I’m in pretty good health.

If I tell you how I reacted to this, then I am actually not surprised. This was all due to my doing, my potential lifespan according to their scientific analysis have been that short for being a complete regular homie that’s all nothing but eat, sleep, internet, repeat. My last known major aerobic exercise was a year prior to our pandemic life.

My social anxiety and introversion also contributes to all these matters that disabled me from trying to communicate normally from other people in public by myself without any guidance from my parents, relatives, or friends.

Second, my anger problems.
This is the type of thing the society would want to avoid me for doing this. I still suffer from an outburst over even the most insignifact things in life and hence, nobody would really ever want to help me in the long run if this behaviour of mine couldn’t be changed.

Lastly, difficulty in managing daily situations and problems by myself.

Frequently when I’m sick of her bullshit, my mom says the phrase: ‘I don’t know who or what you’re listening to’. She clearly has this idea that my mood is only ever manipulated by outside force.

Coupled with claims of brainwashing and saying there’s something wrong in my head.

Which means nothing coming from someone who floods her house, car, and my car with clothing and now childrens’ toys with the hollow justification that she will sell them(but always buying more than she sells) to make ends meet, and hopelessly sprays every corner of the house in fear of spiders that never exist to any other observer.

My uncle was involved with that biker I confronted, makes sense why they showed up at my house.

My two buddies were serious when they said we’re going to the movies…

This topic belongs on another thread but I think it might intertwine with Pony Life at some point.

Whenever somebody talks about all the horrors of this fanbase, I always question why I’m even a brony in the first place.
