Happy venting thread

At long last… After weeks of long battle against rat infestation on me kitchen, I finally killed the big rat that came in to my house and populate under my kitchen to cause chaos and potential disease here in my house on February.

I enjoyed a plate of nachos for breakfast with piping hot cheese.

The HDivers debacle is not lost and my commisioned pokemon form got praise from the original artist.

Tonight has been a real last-minute win.

My computer goes a lot faster after cleaning up the SSDs.

RAID0 isn’t for data redundancy I found out, it’s for speed. 2 memory controllers alternating on two hds that have identical data. I’ll take it. I don’t need automatic redundancy if I got a lot of fast, big storage.

There is prob a true redundancy configuration for this RAID, but I want the speed. I prefer SSD for everything, but 2 really fast performance grade disk in a RAID0 is good.

I was just randomly gifted 500USD equipment, and its good equipment that I want to use.

I might be on only sporadically tomorrow and won’t be posting in the What Are You Listening To thread tomorrow, because I’m going out of my province (from Ontario to Quebec) to visit my best/childhood friend for the day.
We’ll be going to the record store, the arcade and other stuff. It’ll be great! C:

At work, we’re paid until an hour after close, but we can go home right at close if everything is done.

I’m getting paid right now, and I get a day off tomorrow.

We were invited for an evening home buffet dinner at my Aunt’s 60th birthday tonight.

Been starting to draw again (offline currently, just doodling lines, swirls, circles, and other basic shapes and patterns).
I think I’m starting to remember why I like drawing again, feels nice doing it without pressuring myself into posting things online. Could probably draw some stick figures at least now though, lol.

I just got back home from Montreal, where I visited my IRL best friend “Kalibur Kitty” (His screen name).
Never a dull moment over there in that city, and certainly never a dull moment with him!

Finally some good news the summer heat according to our local meteorologist have made it past peak. We won’t be experiencing record breaking heat anymore.

So far, we still hadn’t received our first major rain of the year. Just some cumulonimbus from a distance that barely missed us by few kilometers/miles.

Helped my family in moving a new couch into the office room, felt good to be productive for a brief moment
