My classmate and I discovered that GM hasn’t changed their chime in a while, the 2008 avalanche we have has the same one as his 2019 Colorado. Another friend had a Chevy HHR and it was the same too.

They usually change the pitch and volume of the chime every few years but that’s it. We haven’t had a new one since the ones from 99 to 02 were discontinued

VW has been using the same alert chime for over twenty years now.

It’s time for something new

Like the Ford door chime. Not as annoying as just a persistent dinging noise.

The new Lincolns have chimes recorded by the Detroit orchestra. It’s a nice little touch.

It is. If you play them backwards, they sound similar to the ford chime

Never annoying as the old buzzers from 1998 and backwards. I remember how my buddy has a 95 Sierra and it’s buzzer sounds exactly like the attention tone in the emergency alert system.

My sister is just learning how to drive and I gave her my old 99 Tacoma prerunner SR5 that has almost 300000 miles on it and I programmed the chime to play 115 by Elena seigman every time she puts the key in the ignition. Every time she starts that hand me down truck, she gets a taste of a fine heavy metal song used in cod bo1 zombies

Lol. Lots of Japanese cars tend to be slow. Except for a select few, Like the Nissan Titan that going to buy my sister as a birthday gift after she gets her liscence. I’ll be able to welcome her into the diesel gang

Maybe not but they could still reach the tires. I do have a few things on mine but nothing pony related. I’ve got an American flag on each forward door, a Punisher skull on the right of the rear window and a silver Magpul Industries sticker on the left.

Everyone I’ve talked to has hated the Titan. A diesel enthusiast in my class hates it, even though it’s a Cummins. Then again, I don’t know much about diesels.
