The charity event was started as a constructive way for people to channel their anger at encroaching censorship, especially in regards to Aryanne. The art pack was created in a fraction of the time a normal art pack would be, has much more art, and has raised much more money because of it’s controversial nature. To say it’s irresponsible or tasteless Aryanne art was combined with the charity effort makes no sense.
 
And no one is saying if you don’t like the charity or Nazi art you don’t care about horses. They’re saying the people who took the time to report the webpage for being in the TOS grey area and the people who celebrated it’s removal clearly care more about politics than the well being of animals. A lot of these people are the same type of person who instead of minding their own bushiness support trying to dox people and destroy careers if people don’t fall in line with how they want them to behave. They are misguided at best and empathically challenged at worse.

You think Nazis are a good thing??? You really do? Do you know what would have happened if Hitler won??? Please don’t be a Neo Nazi. They could have got the money by a different theme.

The pack is a protest. A protest of people that don’t like the oncoming signs of censorship. What was the first sign of censorship that gets us worried? The removal of all “hate speech” while other, similar destructive ideologies were regarded as allowed. What was one of the most recognizable parts of the removal? Aryanne. And how do you show your support to a symbol? By creating imagery, offering that and having like-minded people speak up, with their wallets in this case.
 
There is nothing tasteless about all of this, you just don’t understand one of the many ways to fight what people consider unjust. And in addition to showing support to the cause of going against censorship, this pack has made a considerable difference in the live of rescue horses by getting over $11,000 together.  
This is a fight on two fronts.

What’s wrong with asking for a compensation for creating art? Does having a job and getting paid is narcissism? You’re misusing that word.
 
This is done for a right cause. Helping an organization that defends comic artists’s right of free speech. All of them, and also a shelter for horses. Because we are in a capitalist economy and do what we want with our revenues. Also no one forces you to pay for it. It’s like saying «I don’t like cucumbers, please don’t buy cucucmbers! I’m gonna go full crusade against cucubmer agricultors and people supporting them!»
 
How come is being arrested even an argument? It shouldn’t be, you commit a crime or break the law, you get arrested, that’s just a false equivalency fallacy or whatever you’re trying to mean with that.

How are we destroying the site when when the people at the forefront of the censorship movement called to get the site’s patreon removed and to file frivolous lawsuits? Another fallacious argument that makes you omit to put the whole point of this site in perspective. Derpibooru is a service with a function and is replaceable. The content or the members contributes to it, none of it, barely some of the modified booru code even is the property of Derpiboru. Here’s your confirmation bias.
