How would you rate your art abilities out of 10?

I want retract the six and make it 6.7. I’m getting there… probably.

Probably around… 1. Can’t draw or do anything creative, save for writing crappy fanfic.

Maybe an 7 or 8 in pure form drawing ability (ponies only), about a 6 for faces (again, pony only), about a 4 for shading, and about 1 or 2 when it comes to coloring.

When it comes to drawing, I’d say a 2. But my writing, however, I’d say an 8 and I amalways looking for improvements to my writing abilities.

Sure, I’ve freed up a lot of time this week so been looking for stuff to do other than study programming.
 
As for the art program thing, I don’t have the money (or space on my desk) for a draw pad.

3 to 4, but I don’t draw to be pro. I Draw for fun.

probably a 6

“out of ten” doesn’t really give a sense of scale, or what population it’s normalized to, if any.
 
if ten is mastery and the scale is linear from zero to ten, then I’d rate myself a one, maybe a two at the highest
 
if five is average among the entire world population, then I’m easily a nine
 
if five is average among people who actually do art, and the scale is sigmoid-ish, with nine to ten merely being the difference between very good and complete mastery, I’d rate myself an eight or so?
 
or if five is calibrated to average among professionals, then I’m perhaps a three or four if the scale goes low enough to cover amateurs as well, or a two if it does not?

6, on a good day. Anywhere lower on the scale on other days, depending upon how much effort I actually put into a drawing.

Probably around a 2-3. I’ll get there someday, maybe.

Don’t compare yourself and rate yourself to others. That will always get you down.
 
Go back and look at your old stuff. Does it look like crap? yes? GOOD! that means your improving.
 
and thats all that matters.

I feel like if I give myself a 2 -I’m being too generous. To be perfectly honest, I’m always hard on myself when it comes to art and I always think my art looks like crap but when others look at it, they’re like, “dude that’s pretty awesome.”
 
I’m never satisfied with my art. (sigh) The search for perfection, an elusive and lofty goal.

I’ve heard this many times from various artists, But it never stop made me to keep moving foward.  
My art? well, around 5-6

It’s now around 3-5 if lucky. Learned to sketch with red before drawing. Didn’t bothered with any shading though.

There are so many artists who I wish I was as good as. :(

I’ll let the voters be the judge… I have no right to brag. As far as I can tell I’m not quite up to rookie class yet.
 

My drawings are cartoons. If you want anime style, it’s usually small like handbook size but quite detailed. Anything bigger and I fail like farts.

I’d say a 5. Gives me enough room to be a whole lot better, but I could also be a whole lot worse.
